Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequently ask questions about apartment locating

Is your Dallas apartment locator service free?

Yes, our Dallas Apartment Finder Service is 100% Free.  All we ask is that you list us as the referral source on your app/lease and report your lease to us.  The apartment communities will not alert us to your lease.

How do apartment locators get paid?

Our DFW Apartment Locators receive a commission paid from the marketing budget of the apartment community and does not have an effect on your rental rate.

Are rents negotiable?

Sometimes we are able to negotiate a slightly better rate, however in general base rental rates are not negotiable.  On occasion we are able to persuade them to waive a trash fee or pet rent but those cases aren’t too common.  Prices are set by the property owner and are the same to everyone and every locator.  Any apartment locator service who claims to have a special deal in place that can offer you a better monthly rental rate is being misleading.

Do you offer the best apartment specials?

This is true.  We seek out the best specials rather publicly advertised or privately advertised and present them to our clients. The difference is knowing about the specials versus not knowing about the specials.  There are times that if you don’t ask for the move in special specifically that it will not be offered.  We want you to get the best deal possible!

Do your offer a free move?

No, we do not offer a free move as often the service is only for an hour, maybe two, leaving you to pay the rest.  We offer rental rebates on all DFW apartments we list so long as our commission is at least $250.

Which DFW cities do your apartment locators serve?

Our DFW Apartment Locator can help you find apartments throughout DFW including but not limited to Plano Apartments, Frisco Apartments, Uptown Dallas Apartments, Fort Worth Apartments, Richardson Apartments, and McKinney Apartments.

I have a broken lease or eviction, can you help me?

Sorry, at this time we are unable to assist with any evictions or broken leases.

Are there brand new apartments in Dallas with move in specials?

You bet!  Some Dallas apartments are offering up to 8 weeks free, reduced rents, reduced deposits, and much more!

Are you the best Dallas apartment locator?

We are not only the best Dallas apartment locators, we are the perfect apartment locator for you!

What information do I need to provide to my DFW Apartment finder?

Your Dallas apartment finder will need to know your monthly rental budget, desired move date, any negative rental or criminal history, as well as the area you most want to live in and any special requests.  Our apartment finders will do their very best to locate an apartment that meets what you are looking for, however in some cases a compromise may be needed

What are the income requirements?

Income requirements vary by apartment community, generally you will need to make 3x the rent in income, however there are a few who only require 2.5x the rent in income.  If married the income is counted between the two.  If roommates, then in general each roommate should make 2x the rent in income.

Why should I use and apartment locator service?

Our DFW Apartment locators are local and have knowledge of the area and market, not just knowledge that some database has.  Plus you’ll be eligible for a rebate!  Free money and free service, what’s better than that?

Do apartments accept aggressive breeds?

Yes!  We know of several apartments with no breed restrictions and others that accept specific breeds like German Shepherds and Husky.  Starting one bedroom prices for no breed restriction properties is about $1000/month, two bedrooms around $1300.
